ENCHANTED CAFE GLANCE

Seated by the coffee table in the cozy café, Cappuccino in hand from delicate porcelain cups, my friends and I engaged, In ceaseless banter, chuckling at our shared tales, Amidst mirth, you caught my eye, across the room, Nestled at a corner, in the company of suited gentlemen, pens poised, notes in hand, "Business dealings," my presumption, as I observed the scene, With elbow on table, chin upon my palm, entranced by your gaze so captivating, Unbeknownst to me, that initial glance spun a reverie around me, a world of my own. Part 3 Hearts Entwined   The month passed, and the old man, having failed to prove his worth by losing the stone, was denounced as my intended husband.
