YOU DON'T HAVE TO FIGHT YOUR BATTLES ALONE
In profound silence, your voice remains unspoken,
Yet your quiet speaks volumes, a tale of heartache unbroken.
In the room, your suffering echoes, a vivid wail,
A portrait of anguish, a story on the canvas of your pale.
Tears cascade, swift as heartbeat's race,
Puffy eyes, veiled pain etched on your face.
Your pretty smile conceals agony's art,
Behind it, calm and joy you impart.
Yet uncertainty paints that smile you wear,
A blend of happiness and shadows of despair.
Eyes disheartened, secrets they unfold,
Longing for escape from a mind's stronghold.
A chaotic world within, thoughts a cage,
Voices inside, monsters that never assuage.
They rob your sleep, they feed and taunt,
As the world crumbles, your resilience daunt.
You strive to erase the memories that haunt,
Drugs and alcohol, companions to confront.
But in their embrace, pain anew is found,
Fresh as the wound, in darkness you're bound.
I know fatigue has embraced your soul,
Yearning to cease, to reach a distant goal.
Freedom from the ache, an end you seek,
In the midst of despair, courage growing weak.
Yet you need not bear this battle alone,
For beside you, a support has shone.
I hear your cries, I grasp your pain,
Locked out, you need not remain.
Hold on a bit longer, the light will shine,
Through the darkness, a path will align.
It may seem now like an endless night,
But morning will come, and the world will be bright.
